How we got our start
In 1999 when my husband Greg found my mother’s strange looking garden tool in her garage and figured out what it was and how it worked, he was hooked! The next thing we knew, Grampa’s Gardenware Co. was born and we were hand making this turn-of-the-century tool in that very same garage.
What makes our product unique
Invented in 1913 in Seattle, WA. The original stand up weed puller. Built with real bamboo and 4-Claw steel head design. Simple and effective. Lets you pull weeds standing up. Saves your back and knees. No chemicals. Safe for kids and pets. Been around for over 100 years.
Why we love what we do
We love seeing the look on people’s face when they use the tool for the first time and say, “Where has this been my whole life!?”. Introducing Grampa to Gardeners all across the world is one of the most rewarding feelings and we love showing everyone this ingenious old fashioned tool from 1913.
